"The Garden of Eden, Texas"

Founded in 1882, Eden is a scenic transition of ‘cattle, sheep, and goat country’, cotton fields, forage crops, oil and gas wells and some of the best hunting to be found in Texas, including several exotic game ranches and fishing, two lakes are within 30 miles! Concho Springs Golf Course, one of Texas’ most well maintained 9-hole golf courses is also in Eden. West of Eden ‘town-square’ are unique shops boasting everything from lady’s apparel, antiques, candies, floral arrangements, interior/exterior and garden décor to venison jerky and other distinctive products. Eaker, the inventor of the “artificial horizon”. Eden is the birthplace of Earl Rudder, WWII hero who went on to be the President of Texas A&M. Unlike the Biblical Eden, there are no ‘angels with flaming swords that turn… to guard the entrance.’ Friendly residents and nature’s beauties welcome you to Eden, TX.
